Our team and students were pleased to welcome Dr. Deanna Lee Rudgard and Mr. P. T. Chan of the Drs. Richard Charles and Esther Yewpick Lee Charitable Foundation and guests on 16 May 2019.

With the generous support given by Dr. Rudgard and the Foundation, the Drs. Richard Charles and Esther Yewpick Lee Charitable Foundation Scholarship for Non-Chinese Speaking Students was set up in 2018. 20 Non-Chinese Speaking students were awarded with the scholarship. During the visit, they shared with Dr. Rudgard their experience at YCCECE, career aspirations and, most importantly, their grateful appreciation of the impact of the scholarships had on them.

We are deeply grateful to Dr. Deanna Lee Rudgard, Mr. P. T. Chan, and the Drs. Richard Charles and Esther Yewpick Lee Charitable Foundation for this invaluable gift to early childhood education.
