Taster Workshop: What does an Early Childhood Teacher do?
Early childhood teachers play an important role in formal education as they are a child’s first teacher. Hence, an early childhood teacher must hold professional qualifications to become a qualified early childhood educator.
If you would like to learn more about the role of kindergarten teachers and the concept of ‘play-based learning’, DO NOT MISS our upcoming taster workshop on 23 May 2020 (Sat). The workshop will include different activities which echo the famous storybook The Dot written by Peter H. Reynolds. As a participant, you will make your own DIY teaching props through marbling art. You will also take part in small group activities such as storytelling in order to grasp some basic ECE skills and have a taste of the interactive teaching and learning style at our College.
Programme consultation will be available on-site . Those who would like to pursue an Early Childhood Education related Degree, Higher Diploma or Diploma for post-secondary education could also submit an application onsite. The $300 application fee will be waived.
