Many Early Childhood educators are familiar with the internationally renowned Early Childhood Environment Rating Scales (ECERS), which have now become a family of research-based assessment tools for evaluating the quality of various aspects of provision for children in different Early Years settings.
In recent years, two new rating scales have been published in the UK – the Sustained Shared Thinking and Emotional Well-being (SSTEW) Scale for 2-5-year-olds provision and the Movement Environment Rating Scale (MOVERS) for 2-6-year-olds provision, and both scales have now been translated into Chinese by the Yew Chung Publishing House.
We are delighted to be organizing the first-ever Professional Development on the use of the SSTEW and MOVERS in Greater China, and have invited two of the distinguished co-authors, Professor Iram Siraj and Dr Denise Kingston, to conduct a 5-day workshop in Shanghai, on April 12-16, 2020.
