Arrangements for College Operation During Typhoons and Rainstorms
1. For Classes and Examinations Not Yet Started
If Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is in force during the following time periods, or When an announcement is made by the Hong Kong Observatory during the following time periods that the Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above is likely to be issued within the next two hours, classes/examinations will be cancelled as indicated below:

+Classes include all scheduled College activities and consultation sessions.
Apart from the above, the College may have other special arrangements, details of which will be announced through email or College website.
2. For Classes and Examinations Already Started

Note: It will be at the discretion of students, particularly those living in outlying islands or remote areas, to leave earlier. Class attendance will be placed on a special Registry record.
^ All outdoor activities will be suspended.
3. Class / Examination Resumption
When an announcement is made by the Hong Kong Observatory that the Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered during the following time period, classes / examinations will be arranged as indicated:

+Classes include all the scheduled activities and consultation sessions.
**Note: Classes that start before 2:00pm / 6:00pm but with the remaining lesson time (calculated from 2:00pm / 6:00pm) equal to or more than 1 hour and 30 minutes will be resumed normal at 2:00pm / 6:00pm.
4. Make-up Class or Examination Schedule
Make-up class and/or examination schedule will be announced later. Students should pay attention to the College announcement through email in due course.
