Candidates are expected to be philosophically and pedagogically aligned with our play-based and constructivist approach to ECE, and share our vision and mission. Candidates with academic specialties and/or practical experiences in the field of Infant and Toddler Education and Educational Management particularly in the Hong Kong context are preferred.
Candidates should have a high level of English proficiency, and the ability to teach confidently in English, preferably with experience in teaching non-native speakers. Chinese (Cantonese and/or Putonghua) proficiency as well as experience with teaching online and/or demonstrated competency using new technologies would be advantageous too.
Other than teaching, appointees are also expected to be active in scholarly activities and to take up academic management / administration duties or contribute to the College in other aspects of work.
There is research output requirement for appointees on professorial track.

Remarks: Candidates without the required higher academic qualifications or post-secondary teaching experience but show strong field / professional experience may be considered for the Lecturer (Practice) track.
Appointment will be made on fixed-term contracts for full-time positions, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
