The DECEC Programme is a fundamental program designed to cater to the needs of secondary school graduates. It offers a comprehensive general education curriculum, equipping students with foundational knowledge and skills in the field of Early Childhood Education (ECE).                                     

The 2-Year Higher Diploma in Early Childhood Education (HDECE) is a pre-service training programme aiming to nurture quality early childhood professionals who will gain all 4 ECE qualifications in Hong Kong, eligible to work as Registered Kindergarten Teachers with the Education Bureau (EDB), Child Care Workers/ Supervisors and Special Child Care Workers with the Social Welfare Department (SWD).

The Associate in Child Studies and Psychology Programme (See Note) provides a comprehensive, interdisciplinary curriculum that equips students with child-centred knowledge, psychological expertise, practical skills, and ethical values essential for contributing to society.

The Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Early Childhood Education (BEdECE) programme aims to nurture world-class early childhood educators who are knowledgeable in contemporary and international ECE theories and practices and can be strong advocates for children and their families.

The Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Child Development and Psychology programme aims to nurture world-class early childhood educators who are knowledgeable in scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration to address the complex needs of children and families in diverse social contexts.
