Position Summary

The primary duty of the Senior Research Assistant is to support the research project “I will remember you – cognitive assessment and training for the aged ID with memory”. He/She will be responsible for both research-related duties, administrative duties and technical solutions for this research project that aims to enhance the research capabilities of the College.

The main tasks for the appointee are:

  1. Conduct literature review
  2. Develop research instruments for the project
  3. Perform on-site collection of data during workshops
  4. Perform data entry in SPSS and conduct analysis
  5. Compile reports and draft manuscripts
  6. Perform any other duties as required by the College


  1. A Bachelor degree or above in education, social sciences, psychology, or related disciplines, or Master Degree Holder is preferred
  2. Preferably working with children and adult with developmental disabilities or with related work experience
  3. Good understanding of different research methods (both qualitative and qualitative methods)
  4. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  5. Knowledge in computer applications (e.g. MS Office) and SPSS & NVivo statistical analysis is essential.
  6. Attention to details, demonstrates good communication skill and project management skill

Salary and Fringe Benefits
