    • A group of dedicated students and faculty from Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) are embarking on a transformative community service journey to Bangkok, Thailand, from June 9 to 16, 2025. This incredible opportunity, generously sponsored by the WoFoo Leadership Network, aims to cultivate our students' leadership potential while fostering global awareness and social responsibility.

Organized by the Student Development Office, this experiential program combines academic learning, cultural exploration, and community service, offering students meaningful professional and intercultural development. It bridges knowledge transfer while preparing them to become compassionate, socially responsible, and globally competent educators.

In partnership with the House of Blessing (HOB), an organization in Thailand dedicated to supporting children of incarcerated parents and employing ex-prisoners as caregivers, our students will apply their Early Childhood Education (ECE) expertise in a real-world, service-oriented context. They will offer training sessions to local staff and volunteers, empowering them with ECE knowledge, while also hosting various children’s programs to support the young ones in the community.

The trip will also include visits to cultural landmarks, giving participants a deeper understanding of Thailand’s rich heritage and its influence on education and society. We are excited to see the positive, lasting impact this experience will have on our students' growth, leadership, and professional development.

Through this initiative, we continue our mission of shaping educators who are equipped to make a meaningful difference, both locally and globally. Let’s cheer them on as they inspire positive change and contribute to a brighter future worldwide!
