Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) held its Congregation cum Honorary Fellowship Conferment on the 12th November 2022, at Yew Chung International School – Secondary (YCIS), celebrating the accomplishments of more than 170 graduating students from the Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Early Childhood Education, Higher Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Diploma of Childhood Studies. 

The ceremony was kicked started by Professor Allan Yuen, President of YCCECE, followed by the commencement address delivered by the Guest of Honour, Professor Dong SUN, JP, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

During the ceremony, the college also conferred its Honorary Fellowships to three distinguished individuals in recognition of their contributions to the College and society. The three Honorary Fellows are:

1. The Late Professor Bernard SPODEK
    Professor Emeritus (Early Childhood Education), College of Education, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign

2. Professor Lilian G. KATZ
Professor Emerita (Early Childhood Education), College of Education, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign

3. Professor LEUNG Nai-kong, SBS, BBS, JP
Pediatrician
