Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education held a flag-raising ceremony on campus to commemorate the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China on 29 September 2023.  Led by the president, all YCCECE faculty staff, academic staff, and students attended the ceremony.

Professor Allan Yuen, President, said the College is committed to providing strong support for the Country’s development through the nurturing of future educators.

The flag unfurls in all its resplendent glory, bearing witness to the responsibility and noble mission entrusted upon the shoulders of the youth. The ritual of hoisting this emblem of our nation transcends mere commemoration of its birth; it becomes a reverential act that kindles a fervent flame within the hearts of students, igniting their profound sense of patriotic pride and bond with their homeland.
