Mrs Mandy Woo, Supervisor of Wisely Kindergarten and Day Nursery, and Ms Julie Chong, Campus Development Director – General of PRC and Hong Kong Youth Volunteer Exchange Association, visited the Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) on 8 October 2026. The visit was warmly hosted by Prof. Kerry Lee, YCCECE President & Chair Professor of Child Development and Ms Alice Chan, Director of Institutional Advancement, for an exchange on potential future collaborations.

During the visit, both guests had the opportunity to learn more about YCCECE's unique position as the first and only specialist tertiary institution in Asia dedicated to early childhood education, as well as the first self-financing tertiary institution in Hong Kong to offer teacher training programmes in this field. Drawing on their backgrounds in the early childhood education sector, both guests shared valuable insights and suggestions.

Both parties engaged in fruitful discussions, exploring potential collaboration opportunities in areas of student practicum support and community engagement initiatives. The visit concluded in a cordial atmosphere, with both sides expressing enthusiasm for maintaining a close connection and exploring future possibilities in education and the wider community.
