    Early Childhood Education Community Day

     

    Join the Early Childhood Education Community Day for a fun-filled experience of play and learning! Designed for children (10 months - 4 years) and their parents, explore our renowned Pamela Peck Discovery Space, enjoy engaging workshops by Baumhaus, and gain insights from a special seminar with Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong and leading international schools. Discover the joy with your children together!

    Each registration corresponds to one two-hour session, which includes:

    Step 1: Choose Your Playtime

    • Select your preferred PPDS timeslot (45 minutes of play).

    Step 2: Pick a Workshop Option

    • Select your preferred workshop (scheduled either before or after your PPDS playtime).

    Step 3: Register for One Full Session Only

    • Each family can register for only one complete session (PPDS + workshop/panel).

    Step 4: Review Before Confirming

    • Please review the schedule carefully to ensure the selected timeslot works for your family.

    A free shuttle bus service operates between the YCCECE campus and Admiralty and Wong Chuk Hang MTR stations. Please note that departure times differ by station. Refer to the schedule below for details.

     

    No parking space will be available. Visitors are encouraged to use public transportation and the free shuttle bus service on the Community Day. Thank you for your understanding.

    Guidelines for Visitors at Pamela Peck Discovery Space (PPDS):

     

    In order to maintain a safe environment for all users of PPDS, visitors are requested to pay attention to the guidelines as follows:

     

    1. Wearing of Masks

    Wearing of masks is not compulsory. Visitors are requested to wear mask should they have flu symptoms.

     

    2. Consumption of Food and Drink

    Consumption of food and drink is discouraged. If children need to eat and/or drink, they should eat and/or drink at the outdoor picnic area. Please put rubbish in the litter bins provided.

     

    3. Wearing Socks

    Adults are required to wear socks (no shoes allowed) in the indoor area. If necessary, you may approach the College Reception to purchase.

     

    4. Safety of the Children

    Safety of the children is the primary responsibility of supervising parent(s)/carer(s) who accompany the children during the visit. Do not leave your children unattended. PPDS teachers are not in charge of children supervision.

     

    5. Parent-Child Interaction

    Parent-child interaction is pivotal and the cornerstone of our work at PPDS, our teachers are here to facilitate activities and guide educational opportunities.

     

    6. Visiting area of PPDS

    Use of PPDS is restricted to the ground floor facility, unless with express consent of the College. Visitors are not permitted to roam around the College.
