The Diploma in Early Childhood and Care (DECEC) Programme is a fundamental program designed to cater to the needs of secondary school graduates. It offers a comprehensive general education curriculum, equipping students with foundational knowledge and skills in the field of Early Childhood Education (ECE). By participating in this program, students are well-prepared to pursue further studies and advance their careers in the field.

Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education has always implemented an immersive English Medium of Instruction environment, which can greatly improve students' English proficiency and help students increase their competitiveness in both further studies and employment. This proficiency in English not only facilitates their academic pursuits but also grants them a competitive advantage when seeking further educational opportunities or employment prospects.

      New Chinese Class^

In Fall 2025, the College will introduce a Chinese class for the DECEC Programme to cater to secondary school graduates who use Chinese as their main learning language. This allows students to focus on learning in class and gradually integrate into a multicultural learning environment outside of the classroom, which can enhance their adaptability under the trend of globalization.
