    • Introduction

The Optimising Children's Developmental Trajectories conference brings together researchers, educators, practitioners, and policymakers to advance child wellbeing across family, school, and community contexts. As children's developmental pathways are shaped by an increasingly complex interplay of neurobiological, social, educational, and digital factors, it is essential that our approaches to research and practice evolve accordingly. This means addressing critical areas such as neurodevelopment, inclusive education, family dynamics, curriculum innovation and play, digital wellbeing, bilingual acquisition, teacher development, social policy, and child research innovations. This conference aims to facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue by uniting experts across these domains. Understanding how to optimise developmental trajectories is not just an academic exercise; it is a necessity with direct implications for education policy, clinical practice, and long-term societal wellbeing. We invite abstract submissions for both paper and poster presentations that provide a brief but comprehensive summary of your study, aligned with our sub-themes. Join us to translate evidence into action and shape a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
