As part of a series of events in celebration of Yew Chung Yew Wah’s (YCYW) 90th anniversary, the premiere of YCYW's first original Musical, 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 was a huge success last night .

Jointly created by YCYW’s Artists-in-Residence and alumni, alongside a number of contributing composers, stage professionals, and student performers, take audiences on a time travel back to the 1930s.

The joint efforts re-created the original story of how the school was founded and developed amidst the war and many challenges. Under the leadership of Madam Tsang Chor-hang, our founder, also known as Hau Cheung Po Po, led by example and inspired the many generations to come, applying the core values of 𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗳𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 through a holistic education . The legacy was succeeded by her daughter Dr Betty Chan, who pioneered in play-based learning and grew the school from Hong Kong to a global network of schools and tertiary education.
