    • This year marks the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and its return to China. To commemorate this important occasion, President Professor Kerry Lee led faculty and staff of Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education gathered on campus to participate in a solemn and respectful flag-raising ceremony.

Led by a dedicated student flag-raising team, the national anthem of the People’s Republic of China was played. All attendees stood in silence and reverence, watching as the five-star red flag was raised high, symbolizing unity, national pride, and the strong connection between Hong Kong and the mainland.

Following the ceremony, faculty and staff joined the student team for a commemorative group photo, marking the moment with a shared sense of patriotism and respect for this historic moment.

The event not only honored the past but also reinforced the College’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible and culturally grounded educators.
