    • On October 28, teachers and parents from the FDBWA Cheung Chuk Shan Nursery School Kindergarten visited our Pamela Peck Discovery Space to participate in a parent-child learning experience that combined play and emotional education.

       

      Workshop: Unlocking Children's Emotional Codes Through Play

       

      Our Assistant Professor, Dr. Zhang Ye, discussed with parents how to use PLAY to understand children’s emotions and help them adapt and cope. Through interactive games, parents learned to identify and guide their children in expressing emotions. The atmosphere was lively, with deep insights, and participants found the content both inspiring and practical.

       

      Children's Exploration: Five Highlight Activities for Growth Through Play

       

      While the parents attended the workshop, children explored freely with the guidance of their kindergarten teachers and PPDS staff, balancing learning and play. The day’s highlight activities for children included: Sand and Water Experience, Creative Art Exploration, Light and Shadow Sensory Activities, Story Reading, and Career Experience.
