We are thrilled to announce that the dinosaurs made a spectacular return at the YCIS Open Day, held at YCIS (Secondary) in Kowloon Tong on 13 December 2025! 

The event kicked off with an exciting YC Leaders’ Charity Run, hosted by Dr. Betty Chan, Chairperson of the YCCECE Board of Governors. Distinguished participants included President Kerry Lee, Vice Presidents Cathy Li and Professor Eric Cheng of YCCECE. We are deeply grateful for the participation of the YCIS School leaders, including Ms. Shannon Shang and Ms. Josephine Lo, and members of various committees, boards and YCIS parents who also joined in support of this charity initiative. 

The YCCECE Dinosaur Charity Run was originally organised to raise funds for scholarships benefiting YCCECE students. However, in light of the devastating fire in Taipo, the registration fees from the run will now be redirected to support the affected victims. We successfully fundraised HKD200,000 and sincerely appreciate the generous support of all participating parents and attendees who contributed to this meaningful cause. 

Besides the Dinosaur Run, we also hosted other dinosaur-themed activities, including expert talks by Chinese University Professor Michael Pittman and Dr. Natalia Jagielska. Attendees also enjoyed painting dinosaurs with coffee residue and learning how to draw dinosaurs from Dr. Natalia.
