The 23rd Annual Pacific Early Childhood Education Research Association (PECERA) Conference took place in Bali, Indonesia, from July 7th to 9th, focusing on the theme "Strengthening Resilience in Children During Time of Change." Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) has consistently been an active participant in the PECERA Annual Conference, aligning with its mission to promote awareness and share knowledge and experiences related to early childhood education in the Asia Pacific region.
Led by Dr. Betty Chan, YCCECE’s Board of Governors Chairperson, and Dr. Lydia Chan, YCCECE’s Council Chairperson, the YCCECE delegation included nine faculty members from Hong Kong and six members from the College's research arm in China. Throughout the three-day conference, the faculty members presented on key early childhood education topics and shared findings from recent research projects with professionals from around the globe.

In addition to sharing their insights on early childhood education development, the YCCECE delegates had the opportunity to engage in activities that supported the advancement of high-quality early childhood education in Indonesia. They visited four local kindergartens in Bali and attended a cultural dinner organized by the governor of Bali.
