YCCECE joins the Information Expo on Multiple Pathways 2025 (Info Expo) organised by the Education Bureau (EDB) from 23 to 24 May 2025. The show was held at Hall 1B of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. With the participation of around 30 post-secondary institutions and organisations, the latest information on multiple pathways is provided to senior secondary school students, parents and teachers with a view to better preparing students for further studies and career paths.
The opening ceremony of the Info Expo was officiated by the Chairman of the Committee on Self-financing Post-secondary Education (CSPE), Dr Alex Chan, with CSPE members and representatives of self-financing post-secondary institutions and relevant organisations in attendance, including our President Professor Kerry Lee.
It is the first time YCCECE showcases its latest Postgraduate programmes at an expo, including the PGDE (ECE) and Master of Education programmes.
Parents and students are interested in the Diploma, Higher Diploma and Bachelor's Degree programmes in Early Childhood Education, and are excited that the College offers full-stage development programmes for postgraduate programmes to take care of the progression pathway after graduation.
During the Expo, teachers from the college were also on hand to answer students' questions about further studies and career prospects, and pre-school teachers shared their learning and life experiences.
Some secondary school students submitted applications on the spot and were offered conditional offers. Some students also attended the Expo last year to learn more and came to the Expo this year and applied, expressing their interest in the programmes offered by the College and their determination to become kindergarten teachers and nurture talents.
