    • On 29 April 2024, YCCECE signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with two schools: The Affiliated School of Jinan University for Hong Kong & Macao Students Dongguan (ASJDG) and Dongguan Laguna Verona Foreign Language School (DGLVFLS). This marks the beginning of academic and cultural exchange collaborations.

Representatives from ASJDG included Mr Banco Tung, Chairman of Eton House Education Group, Ms Lisa Chen, School Board Member, and Ms Sabrina Leung, Administrative Officer. Representatives from DGLVFLS included Ms Maria Lu, Chief Principal, and Mr Billy Tung, Guidance Counsellor.

Both ASJDG and DGLVFLS provide high-quality education services for the children of Hong Kong residents who work and live in mainland China. They aim to facilitate the integration of more Hong Kong residents into the Greater Bay Area development and promote educational integration between the two regions.

Professor Allan Yuen, President of Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education, stated, "This collaboration will provide more opportunities for students from both regions to engage in academic and cultural exchange." According to the MOUs, YCCECE will offer Principal Recognition Scholarships to qualified students nominated by each of the two schools. The scholarship covers upto full tuition fees and aims to support students' learning and their pursuit of becoming early childhood educators. This will provide more opportunities for Hong Kong and Macao students residing in mainland China to pursue further education in Hong Kong and broaden their horizons and professional knowledge in early childhood education.

During the signing ceremony, both parties engaged in enthusiastic and forward-looking discussions, particularly concerning students' diverse career paths after graduation and teacher training. Opinions were shared on various aspects, including macroeconomics, societal changes, and educational development, and possibilities for cooperation were proposed. This demonstrated the mutual concern and commitment to students' future development.

This collaboration will further strengthen the connection between YCCECE and ASJDG and DGLVFLS. Earlier in March of this year, the College signed an MOU with the Affiliated School of JNU Foshan. It is expected that there will be more opportunities for cooperation and exchange between the schools in the future. We look forward to the deepening of this collaboration and the opportunities and achievements it will bring to both institutions.
