Mr William Shum, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Memorigin Watch Company Limited, visited the Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) on 10 September 2026. The visit was warmly hosted by Prof. Kerry Lee, President & Chair Professor of Child Development and Ms Alice Chan, Director of Institutional Advancement, for an exchange on potential future collaborations.

During the meeting, Mr Shum gained deeper insights into YCCECE's educational vision and its commitment to nurturing future early childhood educators through professional training and whole-person development. Both parties engaged in fruitful discussions on shared values, particularly in promoting a blend of Chinese and Western cultures, as well as potential areas of collaboration including opportunities related to the Belt and Road Initiative and broader community engagement.

The visit concluded in a cordial atmosphere, with both sides expressing keen interest in fostering closer collaboration in education and community engagement in the future.
